#admission cancellation

Bombay High Court Nagpur Bench restored a student's RTE Act 25% quota admission after verifying the petitioner's address, setting aside cancellation due to an address verification error by authorities. The ruling underscores the need for accurate verification before revoking admission rights under the Right to Education framework.

Bombay HC rules that educational institutions cannot cancel admissions mid-course due to delayed discovery of document fraud, emphasizing procedural fairness. The court allowed students to complete their final exams, reinforcing that natural justice must precede administrative actions in higher education.
